Record Sales at AirVenture 2009 Fueled by Sales of New SkyPad

September 4, 2009 - Seattle, WA. Seattle Avionics Software, Inc., the innovative aviation software and data company, today announced record sales at the recent AirVenture 2009 aviation show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

"The response to our new Voyager SkyPad device, which combines a powerful Tablet PC, our Voyager software, and a GPS for just $1095 was incredible," said John Rutter, President.  "We certainly expected to sell a lot of the devices but it obviously hit a sweet spot in the market as we had to revise our order from the device's manufacturer three times during the show."

The Voyager SkyPad is available now for $1095.  This price includes a convertible Tablet PC (the screen rotates between tablet and laptop mode), the full suite of Voyager modules including the GlassView moving map module, a WAAS-enabled Bluetooth GPS receiver, a full set of current data including all Sectionals and IFR charts and plates, and three months of EFB level data.  The SkyPad runs a version of Microsoft Windows XP that has been tuned by Seattle Avionics Software for optimal performance in the cockpit.  The system also includes custom applications to make the system easier to use than off-the-shelf Windows.

Note to editors:  High-resolution screenshots of the SkyPad are available upon request.
