Summary
Voyager uses a database to
keep track of aircraft, pilots, etc. Occasionally, it gets corrupted and
Voyager can no longer read it. Also, older version of Voyager would
sometimes let data error slip in that newer versions flag as invalid and refuse
to load. Fixing the problem simply involves emailing the file to Seattle
Avionics for repair. We try to return the repaired file within 24 hours.
Symptoms
When Voyager
begins, it gives an error saying that there was a problem loading the
configuration database.
Workaround
Quick instructions
Send a zipped version of the
the configuration file, config.mdb, to
support@seattleavionics.com
Under Windows XP, it's located at
c:\documents and settings\<Your
Name>\Application Data\Seattle Avionics\Voyager
Under Windows Vista, it's
located at
c:\users\<Your
Name>\AppData\Roaming\Seattle Avionics\Voyager
Note: Please be
sure to zip the file before sending it as many email programs reject .mdb
files.
