Mr. Podradchik, the CEO and co-founder of Seattle Avionics, has a long history starting and running innovative technology firms. Before Seattle Avionics, he was the founder and CEO of Verge Wireless, developer of an innovative handheld wireless device. Prior to that, he was the founder and CEO of Marketwave Corporation, a leading enterprise-class Web traffic analysis firm that was sold to Accrue Software, Inc. in 1999 for about $80 million. Prior to Marketwave, he was the founder and CEO of Medio Multimedia, an award-winning Seattle-based multimedia company. Before Medio, he was a manager at Microsoft. He received his degree from the Wharton School of Business with concentrations in Finance and Marketing.
When he was young, Steve wanted to be an astronaut or at least fly fast planes. After selling Marketwave in 1999, he finally had the time to pursue this interest and got his VFR ticket. He started Seattle Avionics because the whole experience of planning cross-country trips, both as a student and later as a private pilot, seemed far too cumbersome with the software then on the market. He is doing everything possible to make his five-year old son more interested in airplanes than Thomas the Tank Engine -- and it's starting to work.

Mr. Rutter was an executive management consultant and advisory board member for the award-winning on-line marketing firm Kindred Communications, Inc, and later Ascentium Corporation. For Packard Bell, the world's largest personal computer manufacturer, Mr. Rutter was hired as E.V.P. to create and implement the vision and business plan for a new software division called Packard Bell Interactive. Prior to Packard Bell Interactive, he was Corporate Secretary, Board Member, & Senior V.P. of Sales & Marketing, for Medio Multimedia Inc., a Seattle-based multimedia company. Prior to Medio, John spent eight years at the Microsoft Corporation in both sales management and channel marketing capacities.
John's interest in aviation began when he was nine years old, flying right seat in a 172 with his uncle in Colorado. Now, after nearly a decade as an active general aviation pilot John is the proud owner of a 1996 Beech A-36, enjoying IFR flying in the Pacific Northwest. John belongs to AOPA, EAA, ABS and WPA flying organizations.

Robert Hamilton, Hamilton Aviation Marketing

Mr. Hamilton is the President of Hamilton Aviation Marketing, a Marketing and Web consulting resource for General Aviation. As a Principal for Seattle Avionics, he leads their Web Marketing efforts as well as contributes his Operations and Financial expertise. Previous to starting Hamilton Aviation Marketing Robert was a Senior Manager at the Fluke Corporation, where he built their electrical power business and helped develop the unique Fluke brand. He began his career as a Flight Controls Engineer on the Boeing 747, but soon went back to the Graduate Business School at Harvard to earn his MBA (See HBS magazine article about Mr. Hamilton) and ended up in marketing. Robert is the President of the Washington Pilots Association at Paine Field, and is a member of AOPA, EAA, and DAPO. You can reach him at www.HAMaviation.com.
Many years ago Robert began his love of aviation while flying in a beautifully restored J-3 Cub. It was a while before he learned that planes have radios and instruments, and that they actually fly faster than the automobiles beneath. Currently he owns a Diamond Star DA40 which has lots of fancy instruments and is fun to fly, but no more so than the Cub.

Software Returns :
Seattle Avionics provides free, easy access to self-running online product demonstrations,
free trial versions of our software and free use of Voyager FreeFlight.
Therefore, once purchased, software may not be returned or any
refunds granted.
Annual ChartData and AV8OR ACE Subscriptions:
Voyager Flight Software System Modules and SA's
proprietary digital navigational charts and data are kept
up-to-date via ChartData program update subscriptions.
Subscriptions are non-refundable and automatically renewed
unless you contact us to cancel a future renewal.
Hardware and Configuration Purchases
Hardware is subject to a 15 day (after receiving the
product) acceptance period during which the hardware may be
returned but is subject to a 20% restocking fee. Hardware
may not be returned after that period. All hardware
warranties are through the equipment manufacturer, not Seattle
Avionics. All hardware returns require an RMA (Return
Merchandise Authorization) number. Hardware returned
without a valid RMA number will not be accepted.
Shipping & Handling fees
Shipping, handling and insurance are not refundable.
Discount Sale, Tradeshow, and Clearance Products
Discounted products (any product sold at less than regular full list price) purchased from Seattle Avionics Software are not eligible for return or refund. They are nonrefundable and sold on an “as is” basis.
Seattle Avionics respects each individuals right to personal privacy. We will collect and use information through our Web site only in the ways disclosed in this statement. This statement applies solely to information collected at Seattle Avionics' Web site.
Part I. Information Collection
Seattle Avionics collects information at several points. The Web site, like virtually all Web sites, logs the IP address of each 'hit'. We also use cookies but no personally identifying information is used. Our applications require activation over the Internet, requiring your name and email address. This gives each installation a unique 'serial number. Each installation, if the application includes a Feedback or Update feature, may send that serial number when it accesses our Web site. This is necessary to verify, in the case of updates, whether or not each installation is eligible for an update (if updates require a paid-for subscription, for example). At the time of activation, we also capture some information about your computer such as the CPU type and speed, operating system and RAM. These may be used for diagnostic and marketing purposes. We may also ask for other information, such as your address, pilot or aircraft information, etc. for additional marketing purposes.
We do not actively market to children, and we never knowingly ask a child under 13 to divulge personal information.
We employ cookies. A cookie is a small text file that our Web server places on a users computer hard drive to be a unique identifier. Cookies enable us to track usage patterns and deliver customized content to users. Our cookies do not have an expiration date. Our cookies do not collect personally identifiable information.
Part II. Information Usage.
The information collected by Seattle Avionics will be used to tell our customers about updates, bugs, new products, etc.. Users who provide information may receive email announcements or mail announcements.
Registered users may receive additional announcements from us about products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users, we present the option to not receive some of these types of communications.
The information we collect may be used to create customer profiles based on browsing or purchasing history. We may supplement information collected at our Web site with data from other sources.
We may share data with the following third parties: shipping companies, credit card companies, etc.. These third parties will use the information as necessary to complete the transaction.
We offer links to other Web sites. Please note: When you click on links to other Web sites, we encourage you to read their privacy policies. Their standards may differ from ours.

Part III. Access to Information
Seattle Avionics maintains the accuracy of our information by user-supplied voluntary updates. Users may access their own personal information and contact us about inaccuracies they may find.
